I live quite comfortably in south-central Alaska, attending the local High School. When not involved with my studies, I'm on my Apple PowerMac G3 - just recently ordered, replaced my old PowerMac 6100/60 - or on rare occasions engaging in other activities such as basketball, food, or sleep.

Many people have asked me whether I live in an igloo - the answer is yes. All Alaskans live in small igloos, built partly with the frozen bodies of generations of starving pioneers, chopped into small pieces with our only tool - a twig bought with polar bear skins from a annual twig trader from Seattle. Every day I wander out onto the endless flats of harsh ice, crying out for god to remove me from the hellish cold that plagues me even in my dreams.

All of this, of course, does not hinder my internet access or 900 satalite channels. My dizzyingly intelligent brother got me into computing at an early age. Ever since then I have been transfixed with the gadgets. My current most frequent practice is programming. Starting in HyperCard, I built a general understanding of how it all works, and then moved onto Pascal. Staying with it a short time, C seemed too much a more effecient mirror to ignore, so I switched. Today I use C++. I imagine OOP was an easier transistion to make for me then most, because I had already used structs almost sickeningly heavyliy.

My other pastime, gaming, has kept me from going mad on many an occasion. Oh how wonderful it is to remove yourself from reality for just an hour or two, and enter a world either much kinder or much harsher. Bungie Software has always been my favorite Macintosh game manufactuor with their award winning Marathon and Myth series. I also enjoy console games, and the n64 is the only way to go currently in my opinion.

Combining my two passions never has seemed to quite work. I have set about creating many a game, however none have worked out. My current project, Shade, has been worked on off and on for nearly a year and a half and undergone nearly 5 revisions. Perhaps someday I will finish it.

Thus concludes this brief overview of my life.
